Crème Brûlée Cheesecake & A Cookbook Giveaway!

Two of my favorite desserts in one! I love Creme Brulee and I love cheesecake. Make this dessert when you are short of time and can’t wait for that cheesecake to set for hours in the refrigerator. This dessert has a creamy smooth texture that is just wonderful.Only 5 ingredients needed for this delicious dessert!

Cheesecake Ingredients

Crème Brûlée Cheesecake

Pour almost boiling water on to the sheet tray, about half way up the molds.

Bake for about 50 minutes or until just set.

Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar. ( I forgot to do this step!) Using a butane torch or broiler, caramelize the sugar until golden brown.

Crème Brûlée Cheesecake & A Cookbook Giveaway!

Prep Time: 2 hours 20 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours 10 minutes

An easy creamy dessert that is two desserts in one!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons Sugar ( divided)
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 6 Large egg yolks
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 Degrees F.
  2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, use paddle attachment, mix cream cheese on low speed until softened.
  3. Scrape down sides of bowl, underneath the paddle, and the paddle frequently with a rubber spatula for 2 minutes.
  4. Add 1/4 cup sugar and continue mixing and scraping down sides and bottom of bowl.
  5. Continue until no lumps are visible.
  6. Set mixer on low, slowly pour in heavy cream and mix just until combined.
  7. Add egg yolks one a time. Mix for 10 seconds between each egg yolk.
  8. Stir in vanilla.
  9. Place 4-6 dessert molds on a half sheet tray. Pour mixture evenly into dessert molds. Place in oven, pour almost boiling water into the sheet tray, about half way up the molds.
  10. Bake for 50 minutes or until set.
  11. Remove from oven, transfer to cooling rack. Let come to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  12. When ready to serve, sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar over Creme Brulee Cheesecake. Using a butane Torch or Broiler, caramelize the sugar until golden brown. Broiler: 3-4 minutes.

There is nothing better than blueberry cheese cake in my book. I don't eat a lot of sugar but cheesecake is definitely my guilty pleasure
