Easy and delicious Hash Brown Sausage Breakfast Casserole. Made with cooked al fresco sausage, hash browns and eggs for a perfect breakfast or dinner!
  • 1 package al fresco sweet chicken sausage
  • 1 (30-ounce) package frozen hash browns, I used Denny's
  • 1½ teaspoons salt, divided
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with Pam baking spray.
  3. Prepare hash browns according to package directions, using ½ teaspoon salt and pepper. Place into baking dish.
  4. Cut sausages into bite size slices. Place over hash browns.
  5. Whisk together eggs, milk, and remaining 1 teaspoon salt. Pour evenly over potato mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes, until egg mixture is set and hash browns are golden brown.
