Easy Cheese Scalloped Potatoes

Now a family favorite, these scalloped potatoes can be made for special occasions or for when you are craving a comforting cheesy potato side dish.

This is a great alternative to the traditional scalloped potatoes if you love cheese. This flavorful casserole feeds 6-7 hungry adults, (but can also be doubled ) with some leftovers to go with baked ham, turkey, or roast.

- Potatoes - Butter, flour, and milk - Salt and Pepper - Gruyere and Swiss Cheese - Roasted Garlic Base - Bread Crumbs - Onion

Step 1

Grease a 12×9 inch baking dish and set aside. A rectangular baking dish could be used.

Instructions

In a medium skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.

Step 3

Boil 1 cup of water, add 1 teaspoon Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic to the water and stir until blended.

Step 4

In a small bowl mix together all-purpose flour and 2-3 tbsp of the Better Than Bouillon mixture. Add the mixture to the cooked onions.

Step 5

Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add chicken or vegetable stock, milk, salt, pepper.
