Juicy sweet strawberries are in season now! I love to pick wild strawberries growing in my garden. In the early morning before the day warms up, I gently tiptoe through the strawberry patch. One strawberry for me, one strawberry for my basket. After my basket is full, I sprinkle them on my favorite French vanilla yogurt. Not only do yogurt and strawberries make a wonderful breakfast meal, but it also makes an incredible strawberry cake! It’s a buttery melt-in-your-mouth, fresh as summer kind of cake.
