Gingerbread Loaf is the best dessert for the holiday season!
This is one of my last dessert recipes for the year. I know, kind of makes me sad! Where did the year go? So many desserts, so little time! LOL! So I guess what I am saying is that I am saving the best for last. Seriously, guys, this cake is epic!
Gingerbread Loaf smells amazing when it is baking. I just want to play Christmas Carols and sing my heart out! That is what I was doing while this precious gem was baking.
Gingerbread Loaf makes the best gift for that special someone who you aren’t sure what to give them for Christmas. I have a long list of gifts this year and cakes are the best gifts, don’t you think?

Gingerbread Loaf is flavored with molasses, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves, this spice cake is the taste of Christmas! It comes out of the oven soft and spicy.
The spices are amazing in this cake. It doesn’t really need a glaze, but I added it to give it that special kick.

Can you freeze a Gingerbread Loaf?
You can keep a freshly baked gingerbread cake fresh a little longer by storing it in the refrigerator, but it is not recommended because it dries out much faster there. … For a long-term option, you can freeze the gingerbread while preserving its taste and texture if you use an air-tight freezer safe container. After completely cooled, I like to double wrap it in Saran Wrap and then cover well with foil.
Merry Christmas friends and a very happy healthy New Year to you all! XXOO
