The fudge has a creamy white chocolate base with swirls of pastel shades. Lucky Charms marshmallows top it. They add a colorful sprinkling of rainbows, four-leaf clovers, unicorns, stars, hearts, and more. It’s a festive fudge that kids, adults, and leprechauns will enjoy!

Lucky Charms Fudge

Lucky Charms Fudge is a fun and sweet confection for St. Patrick’s Day parties, snacks, or gifts for friends and family. Take some to work for your co-workers. Package the fudge in cellophane for neighbors and friends. Spread the luck of the Irish with this irresistible fudge.

Ingredients

White Chocolate Chips – They help create the creamy base of the fudge. They are mixed with vanilla frosting.
Container of Vanilla Frosting—This helps create the creamy base of the fudge. It is mixed with melted white chocolate chips. Use your favorite brand.
Candy Melts – you’ll need them in pink, green, and blue. These will help create the rainbow swirl in the fudge base.
Lucky Charms Marshmallows – for the topping on the fudge.

How To Make Lucky Charm Fudge

Variations

  • Love the original Lucky Charms cereal? Add the actual cereal to the topping, along with the marshmallow charms. This makes it a sweet and crunchy candy treat.
  • Use all green candy melts instead of the pink and blue melts for a dominant green fudge base. This will create a white and green swirled base instead of a multi-colored rainbow base.

How To Swirl The Fudge Base

Add the dollops of the three melted candy colors to the top of the white chocolate base. Then, use a butter knife to swirl through the colors gently. The key here is not to over-swirl. You don’t want the colors to mix too much. You want them to stay separate enough to maintain their color but create a pretty swirl. Once you cut into the fudge when set, you’ll see the rainbow of colors throughout the white base.

Is This Fudge Freezer-Friendly?

Yes. You can freeze the swirled fudge base in a freezer-safe container for 2-3 months. I don’t recommend freezing it with the marshmallow charms on top. They do not freeze and thaw well. Add those once you’ve pulled the fudge out of the freezer. I like to cut the fudge into individual pieces before freezing. Package them separately by tightly wrapping each in plastic wrap before freezing. Thaw at room temperature before eating.
