Notes

These nuts are spicy, but not too spicy, with a bit of salt. They also make great hostess gifts. If you are looking for an easy and very tasty recipe, then you will love these nuts! Place in a Christmas container with tissue paper. They are very crunchy and highly addictive!

Make sure you are using parchment paper and not wax paper (wax paper is not nonstick). If the nuts are sticky after cooling, that means they are a bit under cooked. Place them back in the oven for a few minutes and let cool again.

How do these keep? Do you store at room temp or in fridge? How long will they last?

Transfer the nuts to a bowl and serve, or store in a covered container for up to a few weeks. Do candied pecans need to be refrigerated? These pecans do not need to be refrigerated. In fact, I recommend storing them at room temperature, as the moisture from the fridge could affect their crunchy coating. Store your nuts in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
