How to Make Stuffed Biscuit Waffles

Making these stuffed waffles is so easy! The first step to putting these waffles together is to prepare all your stuffing ingredients. Cook the bacon and chop it up into small pieces. Then, whisk the eggs and milk together and scramble the eggs until they’re cooked through. Season the eggs with salt and pepper and set them aside until you’re ready to start stuffing.

Ingredients for Stuffed Waffles

  • Premade biscuit dough
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Cheese
  • Bacon

Next, get your biscuits ready to be stuffed. Cut the biscuits in half, being careful not to cut the biscuits all the way through. Instead, leave a small section intact on the side of each biscuit to keep your stuffing ingredients from pouring out as the biscuits cook.

Finally, cut your sliced American cheese into quarters. Place one quarter inside each biscuit. Top the cheese with cooked eggs and bacon crumbles. Then, add a second piece of cheese on top of all those ingredients.

Fold the tops of the biscuits over the stuffing ingredients and press the edges of the biscuits together to seal the stuffing inside. Make sure all the edges are pressed firmly to keep the eggs, bacon, and cheese from spilling out as the waffles cook.

When all the biscuits have been stuffed, it’s time to start cooking! Start by spring both plates of the waffle maker with nonstick cooking spray. If you’ll be cooking your stuffed biscuit waffles on a small, single-serve waffle maker, place two biscuits on the top two sections of the waffle maker only. But if you’re using a larger waffle maker, you can place one biscuit on each section of the waffle maker.

Close the lid of the waffle maker and press it down gently into the biscuits. Allow the biscuits to cook for six to eight minutes.

The waffles are done when the biscuits are cooked through and are no longer doughy.
