I feel like a block Party hero getting all of my summer needs at Sam’s Club. I want to be spending time with my friends and family and less time in the kitchen. That’s why I created this simple recipe.

Drain water. Set aside.Chop up garlic.In a saucepan, add olive oil and garlic, on medium heat, saute garlic until golden brown.Add truRoots Quinoa, toast for 1 minute over medium heat.Slowly pour in Swanson Chicken Broth, bring to a boil, lower heat to medium, cover with a lid.Cook for 15 minutes. - 1 cup truRoots Quinoa
- 1 3/4 Swanson Chicken Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 Parmesan cheese, grated
- With a sieve, rinse quinoa under running cold water. Drain. Set aside.
- In a sauce pan, add olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped garlic. Saute until golden brown. Happens quickly!
- Add quinoa, let toast for about 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth, raise heat to high, when it comes to a boil, cover with a lid and lower heat to medium, cook until most of liquid absorbs and quinoa is soft, for about 15 minutes.
- Stir in grated parmesan cheese. Serve warm.
