This no-bake Oreo Cookie Delight is a dreamy and creamy layered dessert of chocolate sandwich cookies, cream cheese filling, chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and crushed cookies. It becomes even more decadent when topped with a drizzle of chocolate ganache before serving. Swoon!
Perfect for times when it’s too hot to turn on the oven, or when you need an easy yet impressive dessert, this Oreo Cookie Delight recipe is just the one to make. Everyone loves layered desserts and when you add crushed cookies, chocolate, and whipped cream to a melt-in-your-mouth creamy and fluffy dessert, you’ve got a deliciously sweet treat that truly is a delight!
What I love about this recipe is that you don’t need to drag out any special equipment to make it. Just a hand-held mixer will do the trick to beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together. You can even use just a whisk to beat the pudding and milk together and then let it sit to thicken. The Oreo crust is just a layer of cookies you’ll line your pan with. You don’t even need to crush this layer; save that for when you’re ready to garnish the top of the Oreo Cookie Delight with them.
It’s a super easy dessert to assemble that requires no baking skills whatsoever. So there’s really no excuse to not make this! I promise, once you make it, it will quickly become your go-to no-bake dessert to take to potlucks and parties.
If you want to switch things up a bit, check out some easy swaps below for a little variation in this recipe.
Variations
- Need even more chocolate? Garnish with some mini chocolate chips to the top or some shaved chocolate curls.
- Make this into a mint-chocolate chip delight by replacing the traditional Oreos with the mint-flavored.
- Swap the chocolate pudding for vanilla pudding. You’ll still get tons of chocolate flavor but with the added touch of a little vanilla, too!
- For a fall and autumn twist, add a can of pumpkin puree to the cream cheese mixture. Works well with either the chocolate or vanilla pudding on top.
