No-Bake Oreo Cookie Delight

This no-bake Oreo Cookie Delight is a dreamy and creamy layered dessert of chocolate sandwich cookies, cream cheese filling, chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and crushed cookies. It becomes even more decadent when topped with a drizzle of chocolate ganache before serving. Swoon!

Everyone loves layered desserts and when you add crushed cookies, chocolate, and whipped cream to a melt-in-your-mouth creamy and fluffy dessert, you’ve got a deliciously sweet treat that truly is a delight!

What I love about this recipe is that you don’t need to drag out any special equipment to make it. Just a hand-held mixer will do the trick to beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together. You can even use just a whisk to beat the pudding and milk together and then let it sit to thicken. The Oreo crust is just a layer of cookies you’ll line your pan with. You don’t even need to crush this layer; save that for when you’re ready to garnish the top of the Oreo Cookie Delight with them.

Variations

  • Need even more chocolate? Garnish with some mini chocolate chips to the top or some shaved chocolate curls.
  • Make this into a mint-chocolate chip delight by replacing the traditional Oreos with the mint-flavored.
  • Swap the chocolate pudding for vanilla pudding. You’ll still get tons of chocolate flavor but with the added touch of a little vanilla, too!
  •  For a fall and autumn twist, add a can of pumpkin puree to the cream cheese mixture. Works well with either the chocolate or vanilla pudding on top.

How to store this dessert

On the off chance that you actually have any leftovers of this awesome dessert, it will need to be stored in the refrigerator, tightly covered. Tip: if you’re taking this to a party and don’t want to bring home any leftovers, just offer to divide up a few pieces among the guests and let them take the leftovers home.

Yes, it is! Consisting of four layers, this no-bake recipe can be assembled the day before and kept in the fridge until ready to serve. You can also assemble it and freeze it. Make it in a freezer-friendly glass, plastic, or disposable foil container or with a tight-fitting lid. It will keep for up to 3 months in the freezer. Let sit in the fridge overnight to thaw before serving.

Ingredients needed for No-Bake Oreo Cookie Delight

  • Oreo cookies
  • cream cheese
  • powdered sugar
  • whipped topping
  • chocolate pudding mix
  • milk
  • chocolate sauce

How to make No Bake Oreo Cookie Delight

  1. In a 9×13 casserole dish, place a layer of Oreo cookies.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until completely blended. Stir in ½ cup coarsely chopped Oreos. Fold in 1 ½ cups whipped topping.
  3. Spoon the cream cheese mixture in dollops over the cookies and press into an even layer.
  4. In another mixing bowl, beat together the pudding mix and milk for 5 minutes or until the pudding has thickened. Be sure to follow the package instructions.
  5. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer. Top with a layer of the remaining whipped topping.
  6. Place the remaining cookies in a zip-top bag and crush. Sprinkle over the whipped topping layer.

This no-bake Oreo Cookie Delight is a dreamy aessert of chocolate sandwich cookies, cream cheese filling, chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and crushed cookies. It becomes even more decadent when topped with a drizzle of chocolate ganache before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) packageeam cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (5.9 ounce) box chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • ¼ cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. In a 9x13 casserole dish, place a layer of cookies. lay down one layer of Oreo Cookies in a pyrex glass dish
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until completely blended. Stir in ½ cup coarsely chopped Oreos. Fold in 1 ½ cups whipped topping. in a bowl stir in crushed cookie and cool whip until blended
  3. Spoon the cream cheese mixture in dollops over the cookies and press into an even layer. spoon cream cheese layer with cookies and cool whip on top of cookie layer
  4. In another mixing bowl, beat together the pudding mix and milk for 5 minutes or until the pudding has thickened. (Check the package instructions.) add box of chocolate pudding and milk, stir, then add layer
  5. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer. Top with a layer of the remaining whipped topping. add the chocolate pudding layer and cool whip layer, top with crushed cookies
  6. Place the remaining cookies in a zip top bag and crush. Sprinkle over the whipped topping layer.
