Oven-Baked Candied Bacon is a favorite way to make delicious and unique bacon. Brown sugar infuses the meat which is then baked in the oven until nice and crispy. It’s done in just minutes and tastes incredible! A little sweet, and a lot scrumptious!

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED TO MAKE CANDIED BACON?
This recipe calls for only FOUR ingredients, you’d never know it was so easy to make. Here is what you need:
- packed brown sugar
- rice vinegar
- maple syrup
- ground black pepper (optional)
- thick-cut bacon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
Place an oven-safe rack over the baking sheet.
Stir together the brown sugar, rice vinegar, maple syrup, and black pepper (if using) in a small bowl.
Place bacon on the rack.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Using tongs, carefully flip the slices, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Remove the bacon from the oven and flip again.
Brush the top with the brown sugar mixture.
Return bacon to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and brush again with the brown sugar syrup.
Repeat flipping and basting every 5 minutes until bacon is browned and crisp, about 30 to 35 minutes.
