How To Make A Party Batch

Add 4-6 cups of lemonade, 1 cup of tequila, and 1/2 cup of triple sec in a large pitcher. Add slices of lemon and stir to combine.

Place in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve. Add ice to the pitcher before serving. Alternatively, add ice to individual glasses. This will keep the margarita in the pitcher from being watered down as the ice melts.

Variations

  • Add a fresh basil leaf to give the lemonade margarita an herbal flavor. You can also add fresh rosemary or a mint sprig to your glass.
  • Swap out the store-bought prepared lemonade for pink lemonade.
  • A splash of pineapple juice to give it a tropical flavor.
  • Try adding fresh fruit, like raspberries, blueberries, or sliced strawberries.

What Else Can I Rim The Glass With?

  • You can try rimming the glass with flaky salt. You can rim the glass with Tajin, a Mexican chili-lime spice, to give it a little zesty flavor.

  • It works best if the lemonade is more tart than sweet. Just remember to rim the glasses before making or pouring the margarita.

Can I Make This As A Mocktail?

Of course! Just leave out the alcohol and add a splash of orange juice or sparkling water for a
little something extra. If you rim the glass with sugar, it will seem more like a mocktail and not just lemonade.
