Million Dollar Deviled Eggs

Up-level a classic appetizer with my Million Dollar Deviled Eggs recipe. Your family and friends will come back for more! With a secret ingredient (or two), you’ll create irresistible finger food that’s melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

No matter the season, deviled eggs are a staple on every appetizer table. Packed with protein, eggs can also serve as a hearty side dish for BBQs or elegant parties. During springtime and Easter, they’re perfect for a celebratory brunch. And, of course, keeping deviled eggs on hand in the fridge makes them a healthy go-to snack.

I enhanced the flavor of the creamy filling. For this recipe, I used two styles of mustard and a touch of butter for an ultra-creamy texture. Other seasonings make this a savory twist on a classic recipe. I added bacon crumbles to the top of each deviled egg and mini pickle to elevate them to million-dollar status!

My Favorite Method For Making Hard-Boiled Eggs

I like to use the traditional stovetop method. Add the eggs to the bottom of a medium-large pot and cover them with cold water. Be sure to fill the pot at least an inch and a half above the eggs.

Place them on the stove over high heat and bring uncovered to a boil. Once boiling, remove them from the heat. Let them sit in the hot water for approximately 15 minutes. This ensures that the egg yolks are fully cooked.

After 15 minutes, drain the water off. Run cold water over the eggs until they are cooled off. Once cool, handle the eggs and peel them. Alternatively, you can also place the eggs in a bowl of ice water to cool them completely.
