I love that the Mississippi Roast can be swapped out with a pork loin. It is a crazy simple recipe, just put all of the ingredients in a slow cooker, wait a couple of hours and get ready for an amazing dinner!
We first loved Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Roast with a side of mashed potatoes, or mashed cauliflower, or rice, covered with the self-made gravy.

How do you make Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Roast?
- Add pork roast to slow cooker. Sprinkle ranch and au jus packages on top. Top with a stick of butter and peppers.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours. Shred with a fork and serve.

The Best Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Roast
Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Roast is the most simple meal that is made in the slow cooker/crockpot. Just set it and forget it for a tender to the touch pork roast that is incredibly flavorful and melts in your mouth delicious. This Slow Cooker roast is savory, sweet, and spicy. Takes only 5 minutes to prep and can be paired with tons of sides.
Ingredients
- 2.5 – 3-pound pork loin roast
- 1 packet au jus
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 6 pepperoncini peppers*
Instructions
- Trim any excess fat off of the pork roast.
- Place the pork roast into the slow cooker.
- Pour the au jus and ranch packets right on top of the roast.
- Place the stick of butter on top.
- Place the pepperoncini in the pot and close the lid.
- Cook on high 3-4 hours or low 5-6 hours until fork-tender.
Notes
*Add more pepperoncini’s for an extra tangy kick!
